The International School of Brussels is looking for a classical ballet teacher to cover maternity leave for the ISB Plus after school co-curricular ballet classes next academic year, from September 2023 - June 2024. Classes would run in the ISB Dance studio, afterschool between 15:30 - 18:00 on two days a week (days can be arranged with the candidate).
The role involves teaching structured classical ballet classes to students from Kindergarten to Grade 4 with a range of abilities and experience in dance. The role may involve preparing the annual recital in February 2024. If running, the recital would involve some extra rehearsals the week of the performance.
The following skills and qualifications are required:
- Previous experience teaching classical ballet
- Experience preparing dance recitals for students
- Experience working with a Theatre Manager/Technician
- A recognised dance teaching qualification, such as RAD, ISTD, BBO, etc.
- Fluency in English

Candidates must be already established locally and either be EU citizens, or have the necessary permit to work in Belgium and/or ID Belgium card.
