Generali Investments Luxembourg S.A. (“GIL”) manages investments on an international scale with the experience and professionalism of the team of experts at the Generali Group, in addition to the world-class investment firms available through its funds offerings.
She/he, will support the Compliance Function’s members and the Chief Compliance Officer in all aspects of the compliance control framework of Generali Investments Luxembourg to ensure compliance with regulatory obligations and regulation and follow up on actions to mitigate non-compliance risks.”
MAIN TASKS:
- Perform Compliance Monitoring in order to ensure regulatory requirements are met by using various monitoring systems and reports;
- Prepare regular reporting to the Board of Directors of the Company, the Board of Directors of the funds, the Management Committee, the Group, the auditors, the CSSF, etc.;
- Plan and work on specific compliance and regulatory projects with the Chief Compliance Officer;
- Follow up on legislation changes in Luxembourg and in the EU and advise on the impact and consequences of such changes;
- Review and advise on all regulatory concerns impacting the ManCo and its UCITS/AIF activities;
- Assist on the implementing and updating the Company policies and procedures;
- Develop a robust compliance culture, providing support, education and training to staff to build compliance risk awareness within the Company;
- Manage conflict of interest, complaints, etc. and maintain appropriate logs;
- Offer ongoing support to all the staff on compliance issues;
- Provide support and communicate effectively with the colleagues;
- Provide high quality standards and focus on customer environment.
The completion of the above tasks requires a strong cooperation with Group Head Office and other GIL’s departments such as Legal & Corporate, Audit, Operations, Risk Management etc.
Requirements:
- Degree level (BAC+3);
- Experience in a big-4 or law firm is considered an advantage;
- Knowledge of financial products, fund accounting, alternative funds, custody and transfer agency;
- Up to date with current regulations and laws applicable in the banking/finance sector;
- Good project management skills and capable of working independently;
- Good analytical skills and ability to articulate issues, formulate and present recommendations;
- Modelling skills in MS Excel as well as skills in Power Point and Word.
- Well-developed organizational skills, flexibility, ability to deal with different departments within the organizational framework;
- Communication skills, both verbal and written in English and French; Italian would be considered as a plus.
